January 27, 2006 :: Soccer season

Well, soccer season is here again, this time in the form of co-ed indoor intramurals.

I've put together a solid team, and I think we will be contenders for the RECREATIONAL division title. Man, we are good.

Since this is a new team, we'll need a new team name. Help me pick one. Currently, I'm considering Princes of the Universe (a reference to a Queen song from the soundtrack of Highlander), or Tequila Mockingbird (maybe Tequila Mockingbirds). Anyway. Suggestions, please.

Also, does anyone else find it odd that goals by women are worth 2 points in co-ed games? We're gonna be cherry picking like you won't believe.

I'd go with Princes of the Universe... that way if you guys get t-shirts you can put "WWTLF" on them. A take on WTF and WWJD, but instead Who wants to live forever. Why that'd be me... its got my name and everything.

Tequila Mockingbird... A boring blogspot? A Winnipeg band? A cocktail?

- 2 oz Tequila
- 1/2 oz Lemon Juice
- 1 tsp Creme de Menthe

Harper Lee was a great writer, with an excellent but, but maybe I just liked Connor MacLeod more than Atticus Finch. So hard to pick, the characters are so similar. :p
