Things I miss right now

My family.

My friends.

Sara.

If you've been reading this blog for a while, and haven't ever posted a comment before, I urge you to come out of hiding and simply say something in the comments of this post, even if it's only "Hello."

And even if you have posted a comment before, I always like to hear a friendly, "Hi." :)

Brett, I love you and miss you and can hardly wait for June 25th to get here. There isn't a day that goes by that both your Dad and I mention your name and lately it has been many times a day.... and Dad brings up you returning and is very adamant about wanting you home so he can see you, talk with you, shoot basketballs with you. Life has been so different, you in Japan so far away. You hear me say it often, but I have to say it again,
I miss you
and
I love you.

brett, your mom seems cool. enjoy your last few weeks in japan, yo.

Don't get too homesick, now. Enjoy your last weeks, to their full potential. I let my homesickness get the best of me over there, and it was a silly, silly thing for me to do. I knew I was going to miss Japan as soon as I left. And I do.
We'll have sake and sushi at Wasabi and hang out when you get back. I'm sure you've got a ton of stories.

Hey. Asking "how are you" seems a bit redundant when this blog is often a big answer to that question. I'm often tempted to post "Hey, I know just how you feel!" after half of these entries, but that's an unqualified thing to say. Always wishing you the best of everything.

Hey Brett, love the blog-especially the pictures. Ill be home July 13th! Cant wait to see you:) I ran my marathon last weekend in Prague and thought of you. We should run a half together at home. I'm feeling wierd about leaving as well and nervous about what the future holds, but c'est la vie. I'm getting sushi tomorrow, first time since I left the US. We'll see how Budapest does with the raw fish:)
Miss you!

Hey Elizabeth-
I was just thinking about seeing 4 interns come through Senmatsu and it seems like there is a lot os sitting around in a small apartment. I was wondering if you might not have a better time on the Senshu UNL fall program first, and then come in on the Internship program second.. Just a thought. The Senshu 12 week deal is by all accounts, a blast. Just ask Brett or Makenzie. Or me. Damn that was some good times living in the Kenshukan.

Brett, I miss you! I can't wait to see you later this month when you are back in the states!!!

Thanks to your posting I can live vicariously despite my mundane life. :p

Heck, I've quit eating meat, not so much on moral reasons, but heath reasons. I've stopped smoking and I'm trying to quit drinking too. But as far as drinking goes, so far I just cut it way back. Plus I'm working out lots more.
So far I've lost almost 20 pounds.

But this ain’t my blog... I just hope you'll keep posting stuff even after you leave. Just because its not exotic Japan, doesn't mean we'll all see the same side of life that you do.
