Things I Didn't Do Today

Paid $18 dollars to watch a movie in Kabukicho.

Watched a television show where five businessmen entered a Sushi shop, but were only allowed to eat one dish of sushi for every time they managed to fart.

Received a "package" in the mail best described as a "Birthday in a Bottle."

And I definitely, definitely didn't have a pounding headache ALL DAY LONG.

Hello, my name is liz and I am Laura (Hoffart)'s cousin. She thought I would be interested in reading your journal because I am learning Japanese. I also am going to Tokyo in March to visit my best friend Yukino. I just wanted to say that I have enjoyed reading about your time in Japan and it makes me even more excited to go-liz

Cool, I'm glad you've enjoyed some of my writing! And about studying Japanese, don't get discouraged... it's so, so difficult sometimes, but... not impossible.

Anyway, when you get to tokyo look me up.

Thanks I have been lucky so far, but mostly that is because I take private lessons so anything I dont understand I can get help on really easy. My friend Yukino is in her (almost) last year at Senshu University Matsudo junior/senoir High school; so hopefully I will get to spend some time at her school. I want to study to be an English teacher in Japan and hopefully I will meet some people while I am there that could help me look for a job when the time comes. Are you working and/or studying in Japan? thanks for taking the time to respond-liz
